Prompt Builder started as a five-minute fix for a problem we kept running into ourselves: staring at a blank chat box, unsure how to ask for what we actually wanted.
Most people don't struggle with AI because the models aren't good enough — they struggle because writing a clear, specific prompt is its own small skill, and nobody teaches it.
We were rewriting the same handful of prompts over and over for blog posts, ad copy, and FAQs, tweaking tone and format by trial and error. So we built a simple form-based tool for ourselves first: pick a preset, fill in a few fields, get a well-structured prompt back instantly.
It worked well enough that we decided to clean it up and give it away, free, with no account and no data collection. That's still the whole point today.
The principles behind the tool

No paywalled presets, no "pro" tier that unlocks the fields you actually need. The whole tool stays free.
Privacy by default
Everything runs client-side. We don't store what you type, and we don't want to.
